On behalf of a UK client, a private technology transfer company is building two FP7 project consortia for projects which will research and develop prototype software systems for a) an Identity Verification and Authentication Service (IDAS) and b) a Fraud Prevention Service (FPS). 

A number of Industrial and academic/research partners are sought to join the consortia as described below:

Industrial partners are required with experience in software research and development to carry out the following roles:

Database build and load - Analyze data and design physical database. Validate datasets and create matching algorithms and a residency map. Extract/transform/load the relevant datasets. Develop triggers on database loading. Create an analytic data mart.

Research partners (academic or industrial research) are required to carry out the following roles:

Research into market, compliance and available data sources - prioritise selected EU markets. Identify and assess competitors. Identify and document standards in selected EU markets for data protection, anti-money laundering, privacy and IT security.  Identify and assess data partners. Identify target clients and develop client business case.

Research (academic or industrial research) or industrial partners are required to carry out the following roles:

Research into identity verification methods - Identify and assess existing and novel identification data sources and methods. Develop rules for identity verification and authentication, including digital devices, biometric matching and knowledge-based authentication (KBA). Measure rule/method performance and prioritise rules/methods for initial implementation.

Research into fraud pattern recognition, including AI. Identify and assess existing and novel fraud data sources and methods. Develop rules/methods for fraud pattern recognition, including artificial intelligence (AI). Measure rule/method performance and prioritise rules/methods for initial implementation.

Project co-ordination to FP7 standards, including progress monitoring, reporting, deliverable production and financial governance.
